Hamish’s overnight oats

My boyfriend made me this the first time I stayed at his house, and I was instantly smitten (with the oats). Feel free to experiment with whatever nuts, seeds or dried fruit you have in the cupboard and make it your own.

Ingredients (serves 1): 

  • 1/2 cup oats 
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds 
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (I like Linwoods)
  • 1 large pinch of cinnamon 

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Cover and put in the fridge overnight. Serve with blueberries, yogurt and drizzle with a little bit of honey.
