Turmeric & ginger smoothie

A warming smoothie with turmeric and ginger. These roots are fantastic for their anti-inflammatory properties – and they taste great together in this easy smoothie. 

Ingredients (serves 1): 

  • 300ml milk of your choice 
  • 1/2 frozen banana 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 
  • Handful spinach 
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon 

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.
