Turmeric is a wonderful plant for our health, as it contains some amazing anti-inflammatory compounds. This turmeric paste is a really handy one to have around – it can be enjoyed mixed into milk, curries or smoothies, or can just be enjoyed on its own as a hot drink.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup ground turmeric spice
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 1 cup water
Method:
Mix the ground turmeric spice with the fresh ginger, ground cinnamon, coconut oil, black pepper, and water in a small saucepan on a medium heat.Whisk until the oil is fully melted.
Once everything is fully mixed, transfer to an airtight jar and keep in the fridge.
To make turmeric golden milk, just mix 1 teaspoon of the turmeric paste into the milk of your choice.
